5-2. MOTOR AND ACCESSORY REPAIR.
a. Motor Disassembly
(2) Remove thru bolt nuts (figure 5-1, item 3) by turning them counter clockwise, and then lift off the PU. end
(figure 5-1, item 23). Clean fitting and grease inlets and replace fitting and plug.
b. Cleaning, Inspection, Repair or Replacement of Parts
Dry cleaning solvent, P-D-680, used to clean parts is potentially dangerous to
personnel and property. Use in a well ventilated area as the fumes are dangerous
if inhaled. Avoid repeated and prolonged skin contact. Do not use near flame or
excessive heat. Flash point of solvent is 100 F 138 F (38 C 59 C).
