I f drain valve is not leaking, proceed to step 3.
S t e p 3. Inspect for leaks by applying a Leak Teck to valve body.
P u l l out ring and release, valve should seat.
I f safety valve is leaking or defective, replace safety valve.
I f safety valve is not leaking or defective, proceed to step 4.
S t e p 4. Check for leaking or broken tubing.
I f tubing is defective, replace defective tubing.
I f the above steps do not correct the malfunction, n o t i f y
PRESSURE GAGE INACCURATE.
Check for damaged/defective pressure gage.
Replace damaged/defective pressure gage.

Step 1. I n s p e c t for worn belts.
If b e l t s are worn, replace with new belts.
I f b e l t s are not worn, proceed to step 2.
If b e l t tension is improper, a d j u s t belt tension (Table 3-1).

C h e c k for oil level in crankcase, c o o l i n g fins clean, engine shrouds properly installed.
If oil level is low, add oil.
I f cooling fins are dirty or caked with mud, clean them.
I f shrouds are incorrectly installed or missing, install them correctly.
