5-25. CAM FOLLOWER ASSEMBLY AND PUSHROD REPLACEMENT (Con’t).

Install lower spring seat (7), spring (8), upper spring seat (10), and new locknut (9) on pushrod (3).
3.
Install pushrod (3) with parts in cylinder head (4).
4.
Install cam follower assembly (2), with oil hole points facing away from exhaust valves, over pushrod (3) and into
cylinder head (4).

Install guide (1) on cylinder head (4) with
two new lockwashers (5) and screws (6).
6.
Torque screws (6) to 15 lb.-ft. (20 Nom).
