This Task Covers: a.  Removal b.  Installation Initial Setup: Equipment Conditions: Materials/Parts: • Rocker arms removed (see paragraph 5-41). •  Diesel fuel (Item 20, Appendix E) Tools/Test Equipment: •   Rags (Item 35, Appendix E) •  General mechanic's tool kit •   Dry cleaning solvent (Item 38, Appendix E) •  Field automotive shop set General Safety Instructions: •  DO NOT perform this procedure near fire, flames, or sparks. •  Dry cleaning solvent is flammable and must not be used near open flame.  Use only in a well-ventilated area. •   Compressed air used for cleaning purposes should never exceed 30 psi (207 kPa). 5-181
