(figure 5-38)(1)Remove two nuts (1) and lockwashers (2) and remove injector clamp (3).CAUTIONDo not allow any dirt or debris to fall down inside injector hole after injector has been removed.The engine must be disassembled to remove dirt from cylinder. Do not run engine if any dirt ordebris fell into injector hole.(2)Remove fuel injector (4) and gasket (5). Discard gasket (5).(3)Install new gasket (5) and fuel injector (4).(4)Install injector clamp (3) and secure with two nuts (1) and lockwashers. Torque nuts to 42-50 lb-in. (5-6Nm).5-82
