TM 5-4220-227-14 4-25.  Pressurization Valve (Inner Lock Door) This task covers: Replace INITIAL SETUP Tools Materials/Parts (Cont) General Mechanic's Tool Kit Bands, Rubber (Item 4, Appendix E) (NSN 5180-00-177-7033) Bags, Plastic (item 3, Appendix E) Tape, Teflon (Item 21, Appendix E) Materials/Parts Equipment Condition Depressurization Valve Chamber shut down (para.  2-15). Replace.  (figure 4-7) (1) Remove pressurization valve (1) from inner lock door (2). WARNING Leave 1 1/2 threads exposed on fitting when applying teflon tape.  This will ensure that no teflon tape will hang down inside the air system.  Teflon tape should be wrapped in such a manner that when the fitting is tightened  the  tape  will  not  loosen.    Failure  to  wrap  teflon  tape  correctly  may  result  in  contamination  or blockage of the air system and subsequent possible injury or death to the diver. (2) Apply teflon tape to threads of valve (1) and install on inner lock door (2). 4-24
