TM 5-4310-372-14 CHAPTER 4 ORGANIZATIONAL  MAINTENANCE  INSTRUCTIONS 4-1. CHAPTER OVERVIEW. This chapter contains maintenance information applicable to organizational support maintenance. Section I. REPAIR PARTS, SPECIAL  TOOLS,  TMDE  AND  SUPPORT  EQUIPMENT 4-2. COMMON TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT.  For authorized common tools and equipment refer to the Modified Table of Organization and Equipment (MTOE) applicable to your unit. 4-3. SPECIAL TOOLS. No special tools are required to service or repair the air compressor. 4-4. SPARES AND REPAIR PARTS.  Spares and repair parts are listed and illustrated in the repair parts and special tools   list   covering   Organizational, Direct   Support   and   General   Support   maintenance   for   this   equipment (TM  5-4310-372-24P). Section Il. SERVICE UPON RECEIPT 4-5. SITE AND SHELTER REQUIREMENTS.  The Model C–20X-80/6E air compressor unit was designed for use in the field. Protect the compressor from water, excessive dirt and corrosive atmospheres. Run the compressor in an area that receives adequate ventilation to prevent it from overheating. 4-6. SERVICE UPON RECEIPT. The compressor and engine are shipped with oil in their crankcases. Before start-up, check each crankcase for proper oil level. See Chapter 3, Section I for lubrication instructions. Change 3 4-1
