Inspection and Service.
1. Make a complete visual inspection of the air com-
pressor
for
any
loss
or
damage
that
may
have
o c c u r r e d d u r i n g s h i p m e n t .
If shipping crate has
b e e n d a m a g e d , p a y p a r t i c u l a r a t t e n t i o n t o t h e
c o m p r e s s or
areas adjacent to damaged areas of the
c r a t e .

I n s p e c t
t h e f u e l
t a n k ( 1 ) a n d f i t t i n g s
for
looseness, breaks or other defects.
3.
I n s p e c t t h e u n l o a d e r ( 2 ) a n d s a f e t y v a l v e ( 3 ) f or
loose mounting.
4 .
I n s p e c t t h e a i r c o m p r e s s o r ( 4 ) f o r l o o s e m o u n t i ng
bolts, cracks, breaks or other defects.
5.
Inspect the air receiver tank (5) for damage.
6.
I n s p e c t t h e e n g i n e ( 6 ) f o r l o o s e c o n n e c t i o n s ? a nd
insecure mounting.
