4-8. INTRODUCTION. The preventive maintenance checks and services listed in the PMCS Table 4-1 cover procedures
to be performed by organizational maintenance personnel.

PMCS TABLE. Explanation of the columns:

Item Number. Checks and services are numbered in sequence. This column shall be used as source Of item
numbers for the TM Number Column on DA Form 2404, Equipment Inspection and Maintenance Worksheet,
in recording results of PMCS.

Item To Be Inspected. This column gives the name of the item to be inspected or serviced.
l
Equipment is Not Ready/Available If: This column contains the criteria which will cause the equipment to be
classified as not ready or not available because of its inability to perform its primary mission.
