shaft keyway.
Slide pulley over stub

Slide bushing (hub) over

stub shaft making sure to
properly align and
position key.
Position pulley over hub and
align its v-belt grooves to
those in the compressor fly-
wheel .
Make sure that the
unthreaded holes in the pulley
line up with the threaded holes
in its bushing (inner hub).
I n s t a l l f a s t e n e r s ( 3 c a p s c r e w s 13
and washers) into the pulley

and screw into the hub.
Slowly tighten the fasteners
making sure to gradually
tighten (equally torque)
each capscrew in rotation.
Make sure. that the bushing
is pulled into the pulley
so that the pulley holds
alignment with the compressor
flywheel.
Torque the
capscrews to 15 ft-lbs.
Position belts over flywheel

wheel and pulley.
Check
alignment of the belts.
CAUTION
When prying, do not pivot on any components that
might be broken, dented or otherwise damaged by
p r e s s u r e.

Slide engine away from the
compressor.
Use a wood
wedge or similar device to
assist tensioning of the
b e l t s .
