Shut-Down Procedures. (figure 2-5)CAUTIONDiesel engine should not be suddenly shut down from full-load condition.a.Press button on top of engine throttle control (1) and push engine throttle control all the way in until it stops,then release button. Engine should be idling.b.Disengage clutch by pulling clutch lever (2) forward (towards front of unit).c.Set ENGINE RUN/STOP switch (3) to STOP position and hold in STOP position until engine completelystops.
