Remove five screws (8) and remove camshaft cover (9).

Remove two diagonally located screws (10) securing gearwheel (11) on camshaft.

Install two screws (M8 x 80 mm) in place of screws removed above.

Loosen, but do not remove the other two screws (12), securing the gearwheel (11) to camshaft.

Turn on high pressure tester.

By means of the two long screws, turn camshaft in direction of engine rotation until injector pump starts to
deliver fuel in droplets into funnel at intervals of 5 to 8 seconds.

The pointer (4) on crankshaft should be pointing to fuel break point on magnetic scale (6).

Tighten two screws (12) securing the camshaft gearwheel (11).

Check again the point of delivery and if necessary, correct.

Turn off high pressure tester.

Remove high pressure tester line from threaded sleeve for fuel filter.

Install fuel filter (para. 4-33).

Remove overflow pipe with funnel from the injector pump.

Install injector line between injector pump and cylinder 1 (para. 4-34).

Remove pointer (4) from dowel sleeve (5).

Remove graduated scale (6) from crankshaft.
