Remove six locking bolts (6) and timing gear (5) from crankshaft (2).

Install spacer (4) and screw (3) removed during crankshaft pulley removal (see paragraph 5-31).
NOTE
Bearing caps should be marked to assist in installation.
5.
Remove four bolts (7), washers (8), and two
bearings caps (9).
