Inspect tachometer-hourmeter adapter on the engine for defective parts.

23. COMPRESSOR FAILS TO LOAD OR UNLOAD.
Step 1.
Check for improperly set or damaged air pressure regulator.
Repair or replace then set air pressure regulator (para 6-7).
Step 2.
Inspect compressor intake control mechanism.
Replace defective parts (para 6-11).
24. COMPRESSOR VIBRATES AND METALLIC NOISE IN COMPRESSOR.

Inspect for sticking or broken rotor blades.
