Inspect for failure of main bearings, connecting rod bearing, and camshaft bearings.
11. EXCESSIVE OIL CONSUMPTION.

Check oil pan gaskets and seals for leakage.
Step 2.
Inspect for damaged or worn piston rings, pistons, and connecting rods.

Check for loose or missing oil header plugs.
