Remove governor spring and

rod set consisting of: governor
rod spring (1), governor spring (2),
and governor rod (3).
Remove clamp screw (4) and

nut (5).
(c)
Slide governor lever (6) from
governor shaft (7).
( 2 ) Installation
Obtain replacement parts.
(a)
Install governor lever (6) on
(b)
governor shaft (7); do not
tighten clamp screw (4) and
nut (5).
Install governor rod (3), gov-

ernor spring (2), and governor
rod spring ( 1).
Adjust govenor and control
