AIR DELIVERY IS DROPPING.
Step 1.
Check engine operation for low rpm's.
Increase engine speed (see paragraph 2-27).
Step 2.
Check drain cock for air leaks.
Tighten drain cock.
Step 3.
Inspect air intake cleaner on air compressor for clogging.
Step 4.
Check all air tube assemblies and fittings for leaks or looseness.
Tighten all air fittings and replace all defective air tube assemblies or hoses (see paragraph 3-31).
Step 5.
Check engine for loss of power.

AIR COMPRESSOR IS PUMPING OIL.
Step 1.
Check air intake cleaner on air compressor for clogging.
Step 2.
Check oil level in air compressor for overfilling.
6.
AIR COMPRESSOR IS RUNNING TOO SLOW.
Step 1.
Check engine operation for low rpm's.
Step 2.
Inspect drive belts for proper adjustment.
