Replace. (figure 5-52)
(1)
Remove 12 bolts (1) and remove clutch carrier (2).
(2)
Using hammer spanner, remove nut (3) from crankshaft (4).
(3)
Using pulling device, exert tension to loosen flywheel and remove flywheel (5).
(4)
Using hammer spanner, install flywheel (5) on crankshaft (4). Torque nut per Appendix F.
(5)
Install clutch carrier (2) and secure with 12 bolts (1).
FOLLOW-ON MAINTENANCE
Install flywheel housing assembly (para. 5-36).
