TEST
NOTE
All tests performed with alternator installed and multimeter attached as shown in figures.

Open Diode Test.
1.
Turn ignition on, but do not start engine. Ensure jumper (JU1) is not attached (no electrical load). Check for
battery voltage at terminal A and for 1.5 to 3.0 volts at terminal B (figure 3-39).
