CAUTION
Rotor assembly should not be secured in vise at slip rings on shaft. Failure to follow this caution
may result In damage to slip rings or shaft.

Place rotor assembly (3) in soft-jawed vise. Remove nut (6), washer (7), groove pulley (8), fan (9), dust shield
(10), and collar (11) from rotor shaft (5).

Remove rotor assembly (3) from soft-jawed vise.
8.
Gently tap threaded end of rotor shaft (5) and remove rotor assembly (3) from drive end frame (4).
