CAUTION
Engine stator should be handled with caution to avoid damage to coils. Failure to follow this
caution may result In shorted engine stator and low alternator output.

Remove three nuts (25) and engine stator (26) from slip ring end frame (2).
14.
Remove two capscrew and insulator assemblies (24) and capscrew and washer assembly (23) from electrical
brush holder assembly (21).
15.
Remove semiconductor (27), electrical brush holder assembly (21), and brushes (22) from slip ring end frame (2).
