LUBRICATE IN ACCORDANCE WITH CURRENT LUBRICATION CHART

COMPRESSOR AIR CLEANER. Inspect for secure mounting and loose connections. Inspect
for cleanliness.
COMPRESSOR. Inspect compressor head and cooling fins for any accumulation of dirt or rust.

BELTS AND PULLEYS. Inspect condition and tension of drive belts and pulleys. Belts should
3
readjusted only tight enough to prevent slippage.
4
LEAKS. Check for lubrication leaks and air leaks. Check swivel joints at hose reel inlets.
TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT. See that all tools and equipment assigned to the unit are in
5
serviceable condition. Clean and properly stow.
BATTERIES. Check condition of batteries. Maintain proper electrolyte level. Make sure all
6
cables are tight.

ENGINE. Inspect cylinder head and cooling fins for any accumulation of dirt or rust.
8
ALCOHOL INJECTOR. Inspect injector for proper operation, leakage and secureness of
attachment.
INSTRUMENTS. Check all gauges for broken glass and secure mounting.

CARBURETOR AND LINKAGE. Check the carburetor and linkage to see that they are in good
10
condition, correctly installed and assembled. See that carburetor does not leak, that linkage
is not work or binding. See that choke valve opens fully when control is in released position.
FUEL PUMP AND HOUSING. Inspect the fuel pump and fuel lines for gasoline leaks. Check
11
for oil leaks where the pump is fastened to the engine block and check for loose mounting and
screws. Diluted oil indicates a faulty fuel pump.

FUEL FILTER. Inspect the filter sediment bowl for any accumulation of water. Clean bowl
and screen if dirt or water are present.
DRAINCOCK. Open the draincock for a short time to release moisture.

FUEL TANK. Check fuel tank, fuel lines, and connections for leaks.

ENGINE AIR CLEANER. Inspect for secure mounting and loose connections. Check the
15
condition and level of oil in bowl.
LUBRICATION PUMPS. Inspect, pumps for leakage and secureness of attachment. Inspect
16
pump hoses.
LUBRICANT HOPPERS. Inspect hoppers for cleanliness and leakage.
