chamber, the coolant flows into the exhaust manifold and through the water hose into the radiator top tank.
c. Compressor Bank Circulation. From the compressor bank connection, coolant passes around the cylinder liners
and up through cored holes in the compressor cylinder head. Jacketing is provided in the compressor cylinder head to
lower the temperature of the compressed air being diverted into the compressor discharge manifold. After cooling the
compressor cylinder head and valves, the coolant flows through the engine intake manifold and into a common connection
which merges with the coolant from the exhaust manifold. The coolant then is directed through the water hose into the
radiator top tank.
