Removal.
(1)
Remove the oil pressure regulating valve assembly by unscrewing plug (Figure 6-38, 1) and withdrawing
parts.

NOTE
There are two different size cap screws, note the location when removed
and replace in original holes.
(2) Remove timing gear cover cap screws and washers. Remove cover.
(3)
Remove key (Figure 6-39,1) and oil deflector (2) from crankshaft.
