DISASSEMBLY
NOTE
Before beginning disassembly,
slowly rotate motor shaft by hand
to check out bearings. If you
notice any rough spots or
binding, bearings are bad and
must be replaced. Bearings are
sealed and cannot be visually
inspected.

Capacitor case (1)
Remove

Capacitor (2)
Disconnect from leads and
remove.
3.
End bells (3 and 4) and
Mark them so they can be

correctly reassembled.

Thru bolts (6)
Remove

End bells (3 and 4)
Remove
Pry loose with screwdriver if they don't
separate easily.

Rotor and shaft assembly
Remove

Bearings (8 and 9)
Remove from end bells.
Remove only if proven bad before dis-
assembly.
