d. Reassembly
NOTE
Use no sealer on gasket. Use of sealer could render radio shielding
inoperative.
(1)
Reassemble magneto in reverse order of sequence shown in Figure 5-19.
(2)
Install new parts from repair kit (capacitor, seal, distributor block, distributor rotor and point set).
(3)
Lubricate cam portion of rotor gear with a light coat of distributor cam lube.
(4)
Adjust maximum contact point gap to .015 inches. See Figure 5-18.
(5)
Install magneto drive gear as shown in Figure 5-19.
