3-3. ENGINE LUBRICATION PROCEDURE
Perform the following procedure every 50 hours to
lubricate the engine.
NOTE
These instructions are
mandatory.
Place a suitable container under the engine oil
a.
drain plug (1).
b. Remove drain plug(1) and allow the oil to
completely drain from the crankcase.
Install drain plug (1). Properly dispose of used

oil.
Remove oil dipstick (1). Unscrew handle to
d.
release, and pull dipstick out.
Fill crankcase through the dipstick opening (2)
with 1-1 /4 pints (0.6 litre) of oil (Appendix E,
item 5).
NOTE
Do not thread dipstick in
place to check level.
Check oil level with dipstick. Level should be
between marks on the dipstick.
Install dipstick and screw in finger tight.
