Replace. (figure 3-49)
(1) Remove screw (1), washer (2) and remove shell (3), filter (4), spring (5), and gasket (6).
(2) Remove six screws (7), washers (8) and remove oil filter base (9) and gasket (10).
(3) Ensure all gasket surfaces are clean and free of old gasket material.
(4) Install oil filter base (9) and gasket (10) and secure with six screws (7) and washers (8). Torque screws to 23-26
Ib-ft (31-35 Nm).
(5) Install screw (1) and washer (2) in shell (3).
(6) Install spring (5) and filter (4).
(7) Install shell (3) and gasket (6) and tighten screw (1). Torque screw to 50-60 Ib-ft (68-81 Nm).
