Crankshaft.
1.
Remove the crankshaft, together with the bearing cap, from the crankcase using a mallet.
2.
Remove the circlip and press the crankshaft out of the bearing cap.
NOTE
The following checks are to be made every 2000 working hours.
INSPECT
a.
Upper connecting rod bearings (small end). The needles of the needle bearing should revolve smoothly after
cleaning and show no damage. The same applies to the piston pin.
