CAUTION
The Federal Water Pollution Control Act prohibits the discharge of oil or oily waste into or upon the
navigable waters of the United States or the waters of the contiguous zone, if such discharge causes
a film or discoloration of the surface of the water or causes a sludge or emulsion beneath the surface
of the water. Ensure a container of sufficient size is used when draining the oil.

To drain compressor oil, remove plug (figure 3-6) from drain pipe located on the side of the compressor.
NOTE
For best results, drain oil when compressor is warm.

Insert plug (figure 3-6) and add new oil through oil filler (1, figure 3-5).

Loosen vent screw (1) by one or two turns until oil emerges free of air bubbles (figure 3-7).
