5-56. ENGINE IDLE SPEED ADJUSTMENT.

• General mechanic's tool kit
ADJUSTMENT
1.
Loosen locknut (1) at engine governor (3).
2.
Rotate engine idle speed adjusting screw (2) until engine speed is 550 rpm.
3.
While holding engine idle speed adjusting screw (2), tighten locknut (1).
FOLLOW-ON TASKS:
• Stop engine (see paragraph 2-12).
