ì Dry cleaning solvent (Item 38, Appendix E)
ì One expansion plug
Tools/Test Equipment:
ì One locknut
ì General mechanic’s tool kit
ì One seal
ì Two bearings
General Safety Instructions:
ì Two gaskets
ì Dry cleaning solvent is flammable and must not be
ì Five lockwashers
used near open flame. Use only in a well-ventilated
area.
a. REMOVAL
1.
Remove nut (3) and lockwasher (2) from each
end of linkage (4). Discard lockwashers.
2.
Remove linkage (4) from arm (1).
