INSTALLATION
1.
Install tee (5), elbow (6), and restrictor (7) on filter base assembly (3).
2.
Apply sealing compound on new gasket (4). Position gasket on filter base assembly (3).
3.
Position filter base assembly (3) and gasket (4) and install 2 bolts (13) and washers (12).
4.
Install oil line (8) on tee (5).
5.
Install 2 fluid passage bolts (1 and 10), 5 new copper washers (2 and 9), 2 fuel lines (11), and fuel line (14) in
filter base assembly (3).
FOLLOW-ON TASKS:
• Install engine oil filter element (see paragraph 4-18).
• Install fuel filter element (see paragraph 4-26).
• Check engine oil level (see LO 5-4310-452-12).
• Start unit and check for leaks (see paragraph 2-12).
• Close left door assembly.
