Disassemble pump as necessary to inspect valve and its seat on the piston nut. Replace valve or piston nut (para 6-2).

Check for faulty low pressure leather cup.
Disassemble pump as necessary to inspect leather cup. Replace if deteriorated or not pliable (para 6-2).
