REMOVE FUEL TANK FILLER CAP.

INSPECT CAP GASKET FOR DAMAGE
ASSEMBLY. REMOVE FILTER GASKET IF
AND VENT HOLE FOR PLUGGING.
IT HAS STUCK TO BASE ASSEMBLY.
STEP 2.
FILL FUEL TANK WITH PROPER GRADE
STEP 2.
CLEAN UNDERSIDE OF BASE ASSEMBLY
OF DIESEL FUEL. INSTALL FILLER CAP.
OF ALL GASKET MATERIAL. WIPE BASE
ASSEMBLY WITH A CLEAN, LINT-FREE
NOTE
CLOTH
MOISTENED
WITH
CLEAN
TO OPERATE FUEL LEVEL GAUGE
DIESEL FUEL OR SOLVENT, FED SPEC
P-D-680, TYPE II, OR EQUIVALENT.
RUNNING, PULL IGNITION SWITCH
STEP 3.
DISCARD FUEL FILTER JUST REMOVED
ON AND PRESS THE SAFETY
AND INSTALL A NEW GASKET AND NEW
PUSHBUTTON SWITCH.
AFTER
FUEL FILTER. USE STRAP WRENCH, OR
TANK IS FILLED, PUSH IGNITION
EQUIVALENT, TO TIGHTEN FUEL FILTER
SWITCH TO OFF POSITION.
MAKE CERTAIN FILTER IS POSITIONED
PROPERLY AGAINST BASE ASSEMBLY
DRAINING:
TO PREVENT LEAKAGE.
STEP 1.
REMOVE FUEL TANK FILLER CAP.
NOTE
STEP 2.
REMOVE PIPE PLUG FROM BOTTOM OF
THE FUEL FILTER IS OF THE
FUEL TANK AND DRAIN CONTAMINATED
THROW-AWAY, SPINON TYPE. THIS
FUEL. INSTALL DRAIN PLUG.

DISCARDED AND REPLACED BY A
NEW FILTER WHEN REMOVED AT
REGULAR CHANGE INTERVAL AND

NEW FILTER, PURGE AIR FROM
ENGINE IS STARTED, CHECK FOR
FUEL LEAKS
