Checking unpacked equipment
a. Inspect the equipment for damage incurred during shipment. If the equipment has been damaged, report the
damage on DD Form 6, Packaging Improvement Report.
b. Check the equipment against the packing slip to see if the shipment is complete. Report all discrepancies in
accordance with the instructions of TM 38-750.

Check to see whether the equipment has been modified.
Installation instructions. After locating equipment in site and shelter (para 4-4), install as follows:

b. Service. Service the air compressor as shown in figure 3-4. Inspect air intake filter and service if necessary as
shown in figure 3-5.
Power source connection.

WARNING
Electricity is dangerous. Before performing any maintenance or adjustments,
be sure the electrical power is turned off. Never depend on the ON-OFF
switch. Turn power off at the source.
(1) Make certain main power source is OFF before making connections to motor control starter. Also, place
motor control box switch in OFF position.
(2) Refer to figure 4-1 and connect main power source to motor control starter.
