The valve clearance must not be less than 0.018 inch (0.45 mm), otherwise the
valve head may touch the piston.

The valve clearance shall be a maximum of 0.0275 inch (0 70 mm).

After reconditioning or replacing valves, valve seats, or other related work, check proper fit of valves
by pouring fuel into the intake and exhaust ports Observe for leakage at valve seats. A valve fits properly if no fuel leaks
