The least likely cause of a problem would be in the wiring orharnesses.•This paragraph contains diagrams of the wiring harnesses. For electricaltroubleshooting procedures see Chapter 4, Section V, ELECTRICALTROUBLESHOOTING.•Before performing any tests of circuits, you must read and understandparagraph 4-9.•Then installin g a replacement wire, be sure the wire is the same gage as thewire being replaced. Identify the new wire by using color coded tape thatmatches the color of the wire replaced. Match type and size of connectorsfrom old wire for new wire.•If a wire is spliced, use heat shrink tubing to insulate area spliced. Use asuitable heat source to shrink tubing.•Perform continuity test on new wires before installing them into the unit.4-117
