REPLACE REPAIR
a.
Position the piston at Bottom Dead Center (BDC).
NOTE
Do not knock the piston against the crankcase or connecting rod. Remove the shims from the cylinder.
b.
Remove the cylinder (figure 4-14), taking care not to damage piston skirt.
