(3) Belt Guard and Belt Set
(a) Remove belt guard (1) (para 4-13).
(b) Loosen engine mounting bolts (2).
(c) slide engine away from compressor until there is tension on belt set. (Proper tension is
a deflection of 3/4 inches, resulting from pressing down at a midway point between
engine pulley and compressor flywheel).
(d) Tighten engine mounting bolts.
(e) Replace belt guard (para 4-13).
