b. Engine Lubrication - Fill crankcase to proper level. Refer to lubrication chart for proper
viscosity.
Dipstick is marked "DO NOT OVERFILL" Excessive oil
will cause a smoking condition, as engine will attempt to
discharge surplus oil.
(1) Remove dipstick.
(2) pour oil slowly.
(3) Fill to FULL mark on dipstick.
(4) Secure dipstick by pushing SLOWLY
until cap bottoms on tube.
This is a 4-cycle engine. Damage will result if oil is mixed
with gas.
c. Fuel - Use clean, fresh, regular grade leaded, low-lead, or lead-free gasoline.
d. Air Tank - Close globe valve and open drain cock.
e. Starting Engine
(1) Open fuel shutoff valve (1).
