Remove the screws in the front end shield and remove the end shield with the aid of special device No. 003-
0671 (figure 5-12).

Disassemble the screws in the rear end shield and remove the end shield with the aid of puller device No. 003-
0672 (figure 5-13).

Remove the lower crankcase cover. Disassemble the cap bolts of the middle crankshaft bearing (use socket
spanner No. 003-0572, figure 5-14).
h.
Disassemble the crankshaft bearing caps (figure 5-15).
