(1)
Remove filler cap from fuel tank.
(2)
Bend cotter pin and remove filler cap from chain.

Inspection. Inspect filler cap for damage. Replace defective filler cap.

Installation
(1)
Insert cotter pin through hole in center of filler cap.
(2)
Bend cotter pin to secure.
(3)
Install filler cap onto fuel tank.
